Facility Innovations Group strives to protect the privacy of our customers and other website users and the confidentiality of their personal information, whether hard copy or electronic. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. maintains databases of all form submissions from this website, as well as inbound telephone calls in accordance with the general needs and expectations of our business. The information contained in such databases is intended exclusively for purposes related to our operations and is highly protected.
Unless you designate otherwise, or we state otherwise, in this policy or at the time information is collected, any personal information you provide to us will be known only to three parties: you, Facility Innovations Group, Inc. and our website services provider. We have a written confidentiality agreement with our website services provider. The following policies explain how your personal information will be treated. Personal information includes your name, address, phone number and email address, records of your link clicking activity on this website and any other personal information you may provide here. These policies may change from time to time, so please check back periodically if this is an area of concern for you.
Traffic data. Each time a visitor comes to our website, our Web server software—like most Web server software—collects some basic technical information, including, for example, the visitor’s domain (for example, whether the user is logged on from
aol.com,
earthlink.net, and so on), referral data (for example, a record of a search engine results page address or other third party web page address containing a link to
https://www.facilityig.com clicked on by a user to reach
https://www.facilityig.com) and browser and platform type (such as the Safari browser on an Apple computer, or Internet Explorer on a Windows computer).
We may count, track and aggregate website visitor activity into our analysis of general traffic flows at our site (such as tracking which other websites our visitor traffic comes from, how traffic flows within our website, and so on). We may merge information about visitors and visits into group data, but we will not disclose your individual identity or personally identifiable data without your permission. In the event that we present aggregated information to any outside third party, no one will be able to use this data to identify you or to contact you.
We may also, from time to time, participate in third party statistical traffic analysis programs, such as Google® Analytics. These third parties may be able to associate your activity on our website with your personal information if you have created a user account with one of their websites. For example, if you use the same computer and Internet connection to sign up for a Google® Gmail account and to visit our website, Google® could infer a relationship between the two activities via a cookie (see below) stored on your computer, or based upon the common Internet connection address.
Use of cookies. A “cookie” is a small amount of data sent to your browser by a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are generally used to store information on your computer that will be useful when you visit other pages within a website, or when you return to the same website at a later date. For example, we use cookies to store your font size preference. We may also use cookies, from time to time, to help deliver product selections and advertisements, to identify the unique browser types that visit our website and to track visitor traffic and linking patterns throughout our website. We may also use cookies to make transaction processes more convenient for our site visitors. Cookies only identify specific computers and do not have the ability to identify specific individuals.
Email newsletters. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may from time to time send email newsletters or print newsletters to registrants who have “opted-in” to request such newsletters. The Web page URLs in our email newsletters, if any, may contain unique codes to allow us to gauge the effectiveness of such newsletters and to determine how such newsletters are being used by our customers. This information is valuable to us in the aggregate, but Facility Innovations Group, Inc. will not make use of such information to track any individual website user’s clicking activity.
Testimonial letters. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may on occasion publish excerpts from customer testimonial letters, or facsimile images of testimonial letters. In connection with such publication, we ask testimonial letter authors to include a phone number and physical address so we have the ability to verify identity and authorship of all testimonials. However, with respect to personal identifiers, we will never publish more than a name and a city or county. Further, if we publish a facsimile image of an actual letter, we will obscure any street address and contact information. We will not ever sell, trade or otherwise disclose this information to any third party without your permission.
Share feature. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may, from time to time, offer a “Send this page to a friend” feature, allowing site visitors to send e-mail to friends to inform them about an article or other content they might be interested in reading. In order for this feature to function, we ask for e-mail addresses for the recipient (so we know who to mail the message to) and from the sender (so we can tell the recipient who sent the e-mail). We do not store or save these addresses and you will not receive e-mail or other communications from Facility Innovations Group, Inc. or its partners as a result of having used this feature.
“Send this page to a friend,” “Share” and similar features allow individual visitors to Facility Innovations Group, Inc. to send individual e-mails to contacts. While this tool cannot be used to send mass “spam” mailings, Facility Innovations Group, Inc. has no control over how our visitors use it, and any e-mail sent through it originates with, and is the responsibility of, the sender, not Facility Innovations Group, Inc.
Special promotional activities. From time to time, Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may sponsor contests or other promotional activities which require the collection, processing and storage of individual contact and demographic information (such as your age and state of residence) to be used for such promotional activities. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may also co-sponsor such promotional activities together with other organizations or companies, in which case a website user’s individual contact and demographic information is likely to be shared with our co-sponsors, who may use this information as they wish. A registrant’s personal contact and demographic information will not be released to any third-party organization other than named sponsors without the registrant’s consent, and Facility Innovations Group, Inc. will request that such named sponsors respect and uphold the privacy of the registrants’ information by not distributing or sharing such information with any other organizations or third party entities.
Surveys. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. may from time to time conduct voluntary surveys of visitors to our website, with the objective of obtaining aggregate socio-demographic and consumer preference information. Such information may be compiled and shared in the aggregate with third parties, but no personal details will be traceable or associated with specific individuals.
Our commitment to children’s privacy. Protecting the privacy of the very young is important to us. No part of our Facility Innovations Group website is structured to specifically attract children, and we do not collect or maintain information at our website from any person who we know to be under age 18.
Other disclosure of personal information. Facility Innovations Group, Inc. will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information without your consent except (i) as described in this privacy policy, or (ii) as required by law, court order or as requested by other government or law enforcement authority.
Other websites. The Facility Innovations Group website may, from time to time, contain links to other websites on the Internet. We cannot control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other websites.
Unsubscribing, opting out and data removal policies. Any customer or registrant may request removal from our mailing list(s) at any time by entering the email address you provided to us with when you first registered in the box on this page. For security and confirmation, we will respond by sending you an email which you must reply to, confirming your removal request.
No one from Facility Innovations Group, Inc. will ever contact you by email, phone or otherwise to request that you provide confidential information unless you have first contacted us.
Who can I ask if I have other questions or need more information? If you have any questions or specific concerns about Facility Innovations Group, Inc.’s privacy policies, or the ways in which we collect and use personal information, use our brief contact form to communicate your specific question or concern.
